The Rosella early music ensemble was founded in January 2013 with the aim of introducing the audience to the trio sonata genre. Their instruments include: two recorders, viola da gamba, and harpsichord. In Hungary today it would be hard to find an early music ensemble with such a line-up. The ensemble is also unique in that their repertoire, instead of focusing on just one era, extend from the early baroque to contemporary works. Their concerts help the audience to get aquainted with the trio sonata genre through varied and colorful selections.
