László Nyári – violin
Barnabás Baranyai – cello
Marcell Szabó – piano
Saint-Saëns: Introduction and Rondo Capriccioso
Debussy: Trio in G major
***
Bartók: Rhapsody No. 1
Paganini: Moto Perpetuo
Liszt: Pest Carnival - Hungarian Rhapsody No. 9 (trio arrangement)
Virtuoso Saint Saëns, passionate Debussy, proud Bartók rhapsody, restless Moto Perpetuo, capricious Liszt. What do they have in common? The fact that three highly talented young men play them. Their Annie Fischer Scholarship makes it possible for them to show themselves to the audience and try out how well they can make music together as a trio. Quite well, they hope, and they expect to play music in this formation in the future, proving their virtuosity together and separately as well.
