The Junior Prima Award winning orchestra feels at home in Óbudai Társaskör. They gave their first concert here six years ago and this is the place where they rehearse. They have toured the major concert halls of Hungary and Europe. They desire to have "anima musicae" the spirit of music at each moment of their concerts that listeners will take with themselves. They value authentic baroque sound so they start the concert with Händel's Concerto Grosso in G. This piece is one of the 12 Concertos widely considered the pinnacle of baroque orchestral works. Romanticism is represented by Mendelssohn's piece followed by the Bassoon Concerto by one of the most played 20th century Hungarian composers Frigyes Hidas, played by Liszt and Bartók–Pásztory Award winning artist György Lakatos. The concert closes with a most memorable piece: the orchestra played Grieg's masterpiece at their first concert and this will be the first time since then that they play it.
