The first half of the concert – at the Peter and Paul Church – is about peace, prayer and reflection: Gregorian chants, a Georgian song, as well as motets by Josquin, Bach, Purcell and Liszt. The second part at Óbudai Társaskör continues with virtuoso war music and historic songs that take us back to the battles of Eger, Győr, Agincourt and Marignan through the music of Tinódi, Fletcha, Demantius and Janequin.
