A chance meeting led to today's concert. The two artists - after decades - stumbled into each other in a downtown street. Prunyi Ilona, who wanted to celebrate her 75th birthday with a concert, glad of the unexpected meeting, invited her former soloist partner as a guest. And the coincidences continued: it turned out that Sylvia Sass is approaching an almost round birthday (65), and started her career 45 years ago. So this  night became a triple celebration for which Sylvia Sass selected some of her favorite songs, including those of Strauss that she would take to a desert island. Ilona Prunyi edited the show around the songs, leaving the fine and flexible Coppélia Waltz to the end.
